Getting Started

  • Who can use the APSHO AP Academy? The APSHO AP Academy is open to both members and non-members of APSHO. The educational offerings are developed by advanced practitioners for advanced practitioners. Individuals working in any healthcare discipline are welcome. APSHO members will receive either discounted or free registration, depending on the course. 

  • How do I access the APSHO AP Academy? APSHO Members do not have to create a new login to access AP Academy. Your login credentials are the same as those you use to access resources on Non-members will need to sign up for an “APSHO AP Academy Only” membership by clicking on the “BECOME A MEMBER” text link under the Login button on or click here >

  • How do I register for a course? To access all the available courses, visit “Catalog” on our home page. Click on the course that you’re interested in and a “Register” button will appear in the upper right. Click on Register and continue to checkout. Once payment is complete, you will be able to access the course. 

  • What is the cost to take a module/course? The costs will vary depending upon the course, the length of the content, and whether continuing education credits are offered. For example, the APSHO Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course (CTPC) cost is $625 for non-members and $500 for APSHO members. Other courses may have a nominal fee, or be free for APSHO members.

  • Are there benefits to being an APSHO member when using the APSHO AP Academy? Yes! Discounted rates for our courses are provided for APSHO members. For the Cancer Therapy Prescribing Course (CTPC), members enjoy a 20% discount. 

Taking a Course

  • How long will I have to complete a course? Our courses are self-paced. You can learn on your own time and schedule. For those courses offering continuing education, there will be a set time period during which you must complete the course.

  • Why are parts of my course locked? Some educational offerings may require you to complete a prior module before proceeding to the next section.

Obtaining a Certificate for a Course

  • How can I access my certificate of completion or continuing education credit certificate? Once you have completed a course, you may download and print your certificate(s) by going to the course and clicking on the "Certificate" button.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

If you want to cancel your online course registration, you must notify APSHO by sending your request via email to or by calling 609-832-3000 within 3 days of your purchase date. APSHO will provide a monetary refund equal to the cost of the course registration minus a 30% cancellation fee. No cancellations will be accepted if the course has been accessed or after the 3-day cancellation window.
